The Glasswing Restaurant by Alexandru Simon at The Amauris Vienna has been awarded its first MICHELIN Star. With this distinction, the MICHELIN Guide recognizes the restaurant’s outstanding culinary quality and distinctive creative approach.
Since opening in 2023, the Glasswing Restaurant has quickly established itself as one of Vienna’s leading fine dining destinations. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Alexandru Simon, the cuisine skilfully combines traditional influences with innovative concepts, creating a holistic gastronomic experience at the highest level.
This award is also the result of an exceptional team effort. In addition to the kitchen team, General Manager Mike Faber as well as Restaurant Manager and Sommelier Max Populorum play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience.
With the MICHELIN Star, The Amauris Vienna further strengthens its position not only as a luxury boutique hotel in close proximity to the Vienna State Opera, but also as one of the city’s leading culinary destinations — complementing the two MICHELIN Keys with which the hotel has already been honoured.
